ITALY WANTS TO INCREASE TOURISM WITH CAMBODIA

PHNOM PENH, Jan. 13, 2010 (PQRU) – His Excellency Dr. Sok An welcomed an initiative raised by His Excellency Michelangelo Pipan who wanted to bring the two countries’ art performance which is part of the efforts to attract more tourists.

His Excellency Pipan told Dr. Sok An Deputy Prime Minister that “Italy wants to get involve in the activities related to the work of Angkor.”

He also said “we should organize a trip for tourist investors to visit Cambodia because such the event could attract more Italian tourists to Cambodia.”

His Excellency Dr. Sok An agreed with that initiative and asked the two countries to work together more on how to allure more Italian tourists and investors to visit as well as to invest in Cambodia. More

Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister asks the sport team to work harder

The round-table discussion on “the Temple of Preah Vihear and the candidacy of Cambodia to the World Heritage Committee (WHC)” was held on 22nd October, 2009 with the participation of members of the Senate, members of the Parliament, representatives of the Joint Border Commission (JBC), representatives of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, senior researchers in culture and history, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). The discussion was conducted for the purpose of clarifying national and international opinions concerning the inscription of the Temple of Preah Vihear on the World Heritage List and the submission of the candidacy of Cambodia to the WHC. PM Samdech HUN SEN Presides Over the 15^th Anniversary of the Brigade 70

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, presided over the 15th Anniversary of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Brigade 70. The Anniversary celebration was held on October 13, 2009.
In his remarks, Samdech Techo HUN SEN expressed his appreciation to Brigade 70 for its tireless efforts in contributing to national defense and rehabilitation of infrastructure in the country. He acknowledged the immense contribution of Brigade 70 in these aspects as one of the factors attracting national and international investors to do business in Cambodia.
Samdech Techo added that the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has been making further reform in the armed forces to enhance the quality and efficiency of national security.
